Seasonal Flu Shots
Influenza, commonly called "the flu," is a contagious respiratory illness caused by viruses that infect the nose, throat, and lungs. The flu causes symptoms like fever, body aches, extreme tiredness, sore throat, and dry cough. For most people, it's unpleasant but not dangerous, and they recover within a week or two.
However, for young children, older adults, pregnant women, and people with certain health conditions, the flu can lead to serious complications like pneumonia. This is why flu shots are so important - they help your body recognize and fight the virus.
Our seasonal flu clinics are open throughout the Fall and Winter seasons, serving children (6 months and older), adults, and seniors. You do not need a health card to receive the flu shot. Visit our website during flu season for updates on when and where our flu clinics will be held.
COVID-19 Vaccine
Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) is an infectious disease caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus. Most people infected with the virus will experience mild to moderate respiratory illness and recover without requiring special treatment. Vaccination is the best way to reduce the risk of severe illness.
Everyone, including children (6 months and older), should get the COVID-19 vaccine, especially seniors and high-risk individuals. Immunity from the vaccine decreases over time, which is why staying up to date on vaccinations is essential. COVID-19 vaccines are available at our clinic year-round with a valid health card. Patients of Affiliated Physicians
We provide all routine immunizations in coordination with your affiliated primary care physician, ensuring your preventive care is seamlessly integrated. This collaborative approach ensures that you are aware of routine immunizations, boosters, and vaccines available to you, based on your age and health status.
