Nikita D’Souza

Nikita D'Souza is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). She completed her Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University.

Nikita is passionate about helping individuals navigate life's challenges with greater confidence and self-compassion. She believes that therapy offers a space for reflection, growth, and meaningful change, and strives to create an environment where clients feel supported, understood, and empowered. Her approach is collaborative, warm, and client-centred, drawing primarily from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) while integrating elements of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and other evidence-based approaches, as appropriate. Nikita has experience supporting individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, perfectionism, relationship concerns, and life transitions.

Prior to joining CarePoint Health, Nikita provided counselling and behavioural support services across youth justice, community mental health, and private practice settings. She has worked with children, adolescents, adults, and families facing a wide range of mental health and behavioural concerns. Through these experiences, she has developed a strong commitment to providing culturally responsive, strengths-based care tailored to each client's unique goals, values, and lived experiences.
