Luxica is a dedicated registered nurse with a passion for preventative care and health promotion, where she combines clinical expertise with compassionate care using a holistic, patient-centred approach grounded in education and evidence-based practice to empower her patients toward better health outcomes. 

She holds a Bachelor of Nursing Science from McMaster University and an Honours Bachelor of Science in Health & Disease and Psychology from the University of Toronto, equipping her with a comprehensive understanding of physical and mental health. She has further specialized her expertise with a Diabetes Educator Certificate from the Michener Institute. 

Luxica’s clinical experience includes emergency nursing at Humber River Hospital, primary care at Kingsbridge Medical Centre, and acute care at Credit Valley Hospital. Combining her academic background with professional experience in primary and acute care, she excels in chronic disease management, diabetes self-management education, and preventative care. 

Luxica is also fluent in Tamil.
