Maribelle is a Primary Health Care Nurse Practitioner with 10 years of nursing experience. She is a graduate of the Bachelor of Science in Nursing Program at McMaster University and the Combined Master of Nursing and Primary Health Care Nurse Practitioner Certificate Program at Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University). 

Maribelle brings with her a diverse nurse experience in providing patient care across the lifespan having previously worked for a Family Health Organization. She has also worked in acute care hospitals in various medical and surgical units.

 Prior to coming to CarePoint Health, she led the services of a transitional care unit which supported disposition planning for medically stable adult and geriatric patients requiring an alternate level of care. 

Maribelle takes a special interest in Women’s Health through preventative health screening and contraception. She will be working towards training for IUD insertion. She also holds a special interest in caring for older adults through chronic disease management, palliative care, and advanced care planning. 

Maribelle currently holds the Gerontological Nurse Certified Canada designation through the Canadian Nurses’ Association.
